I love seeing what everyone does in their sewing spaces. Gives me ideas.

I love seeing people’s sewing spaces, provides inspiration for me.
Iamnotanoctopus on May 20, 2015 12:25
Definitely more sewing spaces. The more organization ideas I can get, the better.
Sabrina Clementine on May 20, 2015 12:25
Yes! Bring on the Sewing Spaces! Perhaps it’s because I’m extra nosy, but I really enjoy them, lol. (And of course, I have gotten some excellent storage/organization ideas from it as well.)
Serena on May 20, 2015 12:25
I like seeing everyone’s sewing spaces. It gives me good ideas, and it’s also fun to see what works for others that might not work for me. ;)
Debi on May 20, 2015 12:25
more please!!
Mary on May 20, 2015 12:25
Reading the Sewing Spaces posts is so relaxing, and they have helped me address my own storage difficulties. You deserve a standing ovation!
Also, this is a great giveaway! I’d love to make the Crepe for Valentine’s Day!
Mary on May 20, 2015 12:25
I really like Sewing Spaces…I get inspiration seeing other people’s creative spaces.
Erica on May 20, 2015 12:25
I think Sewing spaces is fun. I am like the least organized person on the face of the earth, but it gives me something to strive for.
Vireya on May 20, 2015 12:25
I love sewing other people’s sewing spaces, but they do make me feel a bit bad about how disorganised mine is…
Shannon Radoll on May 20, 2015 12:25
Doesn’t everyone have a bit of sewing room envy? I love to see how other people have organized their spaces. Our house is tiny, so my current sewing space is the dining room table. Yes to more sewing spaces!
Bridget on May 20, 2015 12:25
I love reading sewing spaces, so inspirational but it does cause me a lot of envy.
Lucie Q on May 20, 2015 12:25
Oh yes, please, more Sewing Spaces! They keep alive the dream that one far, faaar day I’ll be organized too!!! :)
ParisGrrl on May 20, 2015 12:25
I love seeing people’s sewing rooms, and wish you’d expand it beyond just people who have blogs.
Rita on May 20, 2015 12:25
I love to see the pictures of other people’s sewing rooms, read their stories and gather great information to use in my own sewing room. Thanks to everyone for sharing their special spaces.
Anna on May 20, 2015 12:25
I love the Sewing Spaces posts, it’s nice to see how people are organising things and to get ideas for how to deal with problem areas in my own sewing room!
Liara on May 20, 2015 12:25
Please don’t cancel sewing spaces!! I love to see what other people come up with.
Patty on May 20, 2015 12:25
I really enjoy reading about sewing spaces! Keep up the good work :-)
Shannon on May 20, 2015 12:25
I think Sewing Spaces is brilliant – I love seeing everyone’s little slice of sewing heaven!
SewLindaAnn on May 20, 2015 12:25
No, no don’t stop the sewing spaces! It’s so fun and inspirational to see others spaces. I would so love to win that pattern as I’m on a fabric/pattern no more buying promise to my hubs.
Beth on May 20, 2015 12:25
I like Sewing Spaces. I get lots of organizational and decorating ideas. Please continue with it. Thanks!
Diana on May 20, 2015 12:25
I love this feature! Don’t get rid of it, please.
Tilia on May 20, 2015 12:25
I would love to see more sewing spaces, but think the quality of the spaces you’re showing have gone down. I want to see pretty sewing spaces with beautiful, clever ways to decorate and organize them. Lately it are way to busy, overfull and not really good looking spaces that are featured, which doesn’t inspire me. Perhaps you could have people send in pics of their sewing spaces and then choose the interesting ones, instead of asking bloggers.
Lauren on May 20, 2015 12:25
No, no, this feature is wonderful! I find it fun and inspirational. Don’t get rid of it.
Bree on May 20, 2015 12:25
I love seeing the sewing spaces, inspires me for when we (someday, sigh) move into a bigger house and I can have a space all my own.
Freya on May 20, 2015 12:25
I love the sewing spaces feature – I love seeing where other people come up with their creations and it’s so useful to see how people organise things!
Jane on May 20, 2015 12:25
I love the sewing spaces feature. It’s great to have a peek into other sewists sewing rooms, particularly as mine is the dining room table, and I want a room of my own.
Marticia on May 20, 2015 12:25
Looks like I’m a minority of one but: ho hum. Something new please or at least alter the order of the questions.
Maybe channel someone other than Catherine (or a different Katherine). Or your progress on the Crepe dress. Or learning to sew. Or the evolution of sartorial elegance (inelegance these days). . .
Leslie on May 20, 2015 12:24
Honestly, I skip the majority of those posts. Everyone has stacks of fabric and their favorite machine. It becomes repetitive. But i agree with Tilia, where if you had places with unique storage and nicely done up rooms, the posts could be very interesting.
NancyDaQ on May 20, 2015 12:24
I always enjoy seeing what other people are doing with their sewing rooms, so I think you should keep Sewing Spaces as a feature.
Ruth on May 20, 2015 12:24
I LOVE reading the sewing spaces posts. Please keep on!! It is giving me ideas for setting up my own area when I get back into sewing again (hopefully after the holidays)
Ginnie on May 20, 2015 12:24
I actually find it inspiring to see what everyone else’s spaces look like and what machines they use. In fact, I just perused your series this week looking for some reader’s favorite machines as I might be getting a new one for Christmas and didn’t have a clue what to ask for! :) Keep going!
Corvus on May 20, 2015 12:24
My sewing space is currently… less than impressive. It’s tiny, for one, and I don’t have much of a budget (read any) to invest in new and innovative ways to store things. So yes! I love seeing other people’s lovely spaces, and dreaming of a day when I’ve got a bit more elbow room myself.
Stephanie B on May 20, 2015 12:24
I have truly enjoyed the sewing spaces blog! It has given me many good ideas and a real appreciation for my own sewing space. I would really like sewing spaces to continue.
Miet on May 20, 2015 12:24
I’d like to see more Sewing Spaces; I’ve been enjoying the series!
Karin van D. on May 20, 2015 12:24
I think this series is wonderful and inspiring. So please keep it up! And what a great giveaway.
lsaspacey on May 20, 2015 12:24
I’m truly loving Sewing Spaces, though I get jealous every now and then. The best thing is that I learn about sewing blogs I hadn’t discovered yet. Keep it going!
Nina on May 20, 2015 12:24
YES! More Sewing Spaces. They inspire me. And make me just a teeny bit jealous. But only a little. :-)
Cathy on May 20, 2015 12:24
I love the sewing spaces. I have loved reading about the sewing spaces for blogs I know and love, but it’s also introduced me to a few more. I say keep it going.
Amyrose on May 20, 2015 12:24
Yes, I like it. But it leaves me terribly envious, since my “space” gets put away after every use.
Brenna on May 20, 2015 12:24
Sweing spaces is definitely an inspirational read!
Nancy H on May 20, 2015 12:24
I really enjoy the Sewing Spaces series; it’s both nice to see inspiring spaces, well organized and laid out AND to see how people are making very little space work for them.
Rachel on May 20, 2015 12:24
I definitely want to see more sewing spaces. The are very inspiring and make me want to clean mine up.
Nancy L on May 20, 2015 12:24

Summerset on May 20, 2015 12:24
Yes, absolutely more sewing spaces!
Amy on May 20, 2015 12:24
I’m fine with Sewing Spaces, but not its biggest fan. It could be that i’m a renter with virtualky zero space to dedicate to sewing. There’s a limit to how green with envy I can turn. That said, don’t cancel it on account of my lacking space!
PunkRizz on May 20, 2015 12:24
I love peeking into other people’s spaces, especially when it comes to sewing. Mostly ‘cause my own sewing space is our dining room. A girl can dream, can’t she?
Samina on May 20, 2015 12:24
More sewing spaces, please! I’ve drooled, envied & gotten some great tips from your series. I’ve also discovered some (other)great bloggers I didn’t know about. Definite thumbs up from me.
Ellen on May 20, 2015 12:24
Yes, pleas more spaces! I already have this pattern, though, so you can leave my name out of the drawing.

MARGARET on May 20, 2015 12:24
I look forward to the series on Sewing spaces. It is very fun to look at, and it gives me ideas for whenever I have a designated space of my own. I love the information about tools and equipment that will make my sewing better and more ready to wear. Thank you!!! Please keep it coming!!! Did I mention I love the Sewing spaces series??
Mimi on May 20, 2015 12:24
I’ve been enjoying your Sewing Spaces series very much. It has allowed me to see how creative people can be when it comes to their sewing space or lack there of…myself being in the later. I love to see these spaces and what each sewist utilizes to store the items of their craft and how they set up their space.
As for the crepe dress pattern…I would love, love, love to have this one. I wanted to participate in Gertie’s Sew Along but with the holidays things are always hectic. I’m still finishing up my Lady Grey and putting the remaining posts together. Would love to sew this after the holidays though!
Angela on May 20, 2015 12:24
I think the Sewing Spaces series is a lot of fun and a good way to get ideas. Cool! Thanks for the opportunity!
Tasia on May 20, 2015 12:24
I love the Sewing Spaces feature because you can see all rooms, big and small, messy and neat. I also like seeing the organizational tips!
And yay for the crepe giveaway! It’s such a pretty dress pattern with so many possibilities.

Debra on May 20, 2015 12:24
Yes, please continue this series. I look forward to reading the latest entry every week. I love seeing how people have organized their space, fabrics and patterns. I am planning a sewing room of my own and getting plenty of ideas from this wonderful feature. Still hoping to see an example one day with a room layout like my own, because I’m having trouble figuring out the best way to set things up.
Daisy on May 20, 2015 12:24
I think the series on sewing spaces was truly interesting. It’s great to see how a creative person organizes her machines, patterns, etc. I want to read more about other sewing spaces. Keep up the good work.
Lisa H. on May 20, 2015 12:24
Please continue sharing sewing spaces with us. Each week provides inspiration for those of us struggling to get our sewing ducks in a row. I would love to see some different types of spaces though, as not all of us are so lucky as to have an entire room to work in. Regardless, please know that your blog is greatly enjoyed and appreciated!
veronica on May 20, 2015 12:24

I really enjoy the sewing spaces. Gives me something to aspire to.
gMarie on May 20, 2015 12:24
After putting a new floor in and completely rearranging my studio – I’ve found the sewing spaces series incredibly helpful. I’m not the most prolific sewing blogger, but I do sew and blog – so….
I’ve also found some lovely, new to me bloggers. So please keep it up! g

To be HONEST, I wasn’t aware of this sweet blog before now. I, unfortunately, have no opinion either way on your Sewing Spaces series. I am, however, a big fan of Colette Patterns, and was directed to this link for a chance to randomly win her gorgeous new pattern. But what a crazy random happenstance, I not only have a one in bajillion chance of winning but I have a hunch I’m going to thank my lucky stars I subscribed to a new blog today. Nice to meetcha.

jes on May 20, 2015 12:24
i love sewing spaces — i love that these are real people (like me!) who don’t always have tons of money and tons of space for their fabric and whatnots. [and i would so love to jump in on gertie’s sew a long.)
Baohee on May 20, 2015 12:24
What? No more sewing spaces? It’s a wonderful series it would be a shame to not be able to see all other’s inspiration spaces!
Cathe on May 20, 2015 12:24
I love sewing spaces and I greatly appreciate the time and effort you put into this. I’m almost giddy when I see a new addition. I like to get insight on all the wonderful and talented individuals out there. I, like many of us work a full-time job that doesn’t link me to the sewing community. This feature gives great insight. Please continue it!
marianne on May 20, 2015 12:24

Krysta on May 20, 2015 12:24
More sewing spaces! And not just the pretty ones, the real ones. We aren’t all fortunate enough to have special fancy sewing spaces :P I like to see how other people make fantastic creations out of messy piles of crap.
Catriona Macleod on May 20, 2015 12:24
Sewing Spaces is fantastic, even if it does distract me from other things I am supposed to be doing – such as finishing sewing a quilt for my mum’s christmas….It is addictive.
Carlotta on May 20, 2015 12:24
I hope you’ll keep doing them , as I keep looking for inspiration for my non-sewing space : I have a tiny parisian appartment and the place where I sew is both my office, dining-living-room, guest-room and kitchen. Good ideas are very welcome!
jadestar on May 20, 2015 12:24
I wish there were more!!! I love reading about all the innovative ways people store their things. From those like me who don’t have a dedicated space, to those lucky few who have gorgeous rooms all specially kitted out. I get the biggest smile when I see there is a new one to be viewed, especiallly when its the space of a blogger i regularly read. Almost feels like you’re visiting them ;p
