And now for something personal and straight from the heart. September 8, 2025 15:11

Many of you — those of you who remember me from the old days when I blogged regularly – recall that I blogged quite a bit about my fear of sewing, my stubborn insistence on perfection rather than progress, and my endless procrastination.

Well. I am here today to tell you that in the years since, when I disappeared from the blog, I actually created quite a few garments. Some were successes. Some, sadly, were not. Some I felt did not flatter my figure.  Some I adored and have worn out. Alas.

I will, in the coming weeks, illustrate the garments that are not in tatters from many trips to the grocers, the restaurants, the travel.

So, I hope you will hang around to see them. (And, no, I did not escape those fears, but I learned to confront them, stamp my my feet in their lace-up suede boots, raise my fists with their chipped nail polish, and loudly assert that they would not win.)

And I will not let them.
