I started a new project yesterday, with the aid of my sewing diva Leslie. Butterick B5559 by Maggy London.
I'm learning new details with this gorgeous dress: Outside stitched tucks. Leslie has made three of these for herself. All are beautiful. Absolutely. Above is the bottom back and front.
You can see the details more closely in the pic to the left. I'm doing the version with sleeves. I cropped the pic, the better to highlight the details. I hope the drawn woman is feeling no pain.
